Lucy Wiseman is Project Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager at the OCSC. Notable projects include the Pacific Cyber Conference (P4C), the responsibilities of which included managing the logistics, planning, budget management, reporting, and administration of the project. As Marketing and Communications Manager, Lucy is responsible for brand development and management, overall marketing strategy, PR and communications strategy, website and creative design, and other digital marketing outputs. In addition to this, she provides support to the CMM team. Lucy received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne majoring in Anthropology, with her field of interest focusing on digital anthropology, and the relationship between humans and digital technologies, and she has a keen interest in AI regulation and development.
Lucy previously worked as research assistant for the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics (CAIDE) at the University of Melbourne Law School which facilitates cross-disciplinary research on issues relating to digital technologies, including the ethical, technical, regulatory, and legal challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence. Further to this, Lucy has practical experience as a marketing manager for a large hospitality group, which includes digital marketing methods, budget management and marketing strategy, and managing stakeholder relationships.
