Cameron Boardman is the Director of the OCSC and is the Centre’s inaugural Chair. Cameron is responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction for the centre and ensuring that the Centre meets its stakeholder and member expectations in relation to cyber security research, maturity reviews and capacity-building.

Cameron is also an Administrator at the City of Casey in Victoria with a previous position as the Chief Executive Officer of au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA), the policy authority and industry self-regulatory body for the .au Top Level Domain namespace. Preceding his role at auDA, Cameron held the position as Executive Director for Investor Engagement within the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources and led the Victorian Government’s investment activities within its priority economic sectors. As the Executive Director for Innovation, Technology and Industry Programs within the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation, Cameron had the responsibility to implement the government’s innovation, technology and science agenda and associated policies.

Prior to Cameron’s time working with the Victorian Government, he led the economic development activities for the Hong Kong SAR Government in Australia and New Zealand. He was also elected as a Member of the Parliament of Victoria in 1996 and served two full terms. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monash University, and a Master of Global Business Law from La Trobe University. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
